- HoopsMania begins on the first day of the college postseason championship tournament.
- The HoopsMania sweepstakes is based upon a 64 team single elimination tournament broken down into 5 contests. Each Score Card contains one randomly generated 5-team combination (“Team Combination”) for each Contest; total possible combinations: 4,806. Each ticket is unique. No two tickets have the same 5-team combination in any contest.
- Each seed on the back of a ticket represents a basketball team. Teams are assigned to the seeds by the tournament selection committee prior to the beginning of the tournament.
- Each Contest’s prize money winners are based on the combined points scored by the 5 teams on the ticket for that contest. A ticket’s value is determined by adding up the number of points scored by the basketball teams (represented by seeds) listed on the back of the ticket. Teams only accumulate points during the rounds specified for their assigned contest. Teams that have been eliminated from the tournament get 0 points in rounds they do not play.
- Contest durations by round.
- Contest 1: total points scored in Round 1.
- Contest 2: total points scored in Rounds 1 and 2.
- Contest 3: total points scored Rounds 1, 2, and 3.
- Contest 4: total points scored Rounds 1, 2, 3 and 4.
- Contest 5: total points scored Rounds 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 (the entire tournament).
- At the end of the end of each contest, the 9 tickets with the highest scores and the 9 tickets with the lowest scores win a prize. There are at least 18 winning tickets for each contest. If two or more tickets are tied with the same score, the teams’ combined ’total rebounds’ is used as a tiebreaker. [Note: ’total rebounds’ is an official statistic listed in detailed box scores. ’Team rebounds’ is different statistic and is NOT included in the HoopsMania tiebreaker.] The more ’total rebounds’ the teams get, the higher the ticket’s score. The fewer the rebounds the teams get, the lower the tickets score.
- Winners will be notified by the participating organization that distributed the HoopsMania ticket. Prizes are awarded upon the completion of the tournament.
- The minimum odds of winning: 1 in 51.2 per ticket; 1 in 256 for each contest. No purchase necessary to play. Void where prohibited.
- Prizes are awarded upon the completion of the tournament.

- GolfMania ticket holders are eligible to win prize money in each of the 4 GolfMania contests. Each contest, written on the back of the GolfMania tickets, is associated with one of professional golf’s Major Championships: the Masters, the US OPEN, the British Open, and the PGA Championship. Each contest begins on the day that the first round is played in the golf tournament.
- Contest dates and durations:
- The Masters, April 7-13, 2008
- The US Open, June 12-15, 2008
- The British Open, July 17-20, 2008
- The PGA Championship, August 7-10, 2008
- A ticket’s value in any contest is based the combined scores of the 5 golfers (known as a “5-Golfer Combination”) that are randomly assigned to it. On the back of each ticket you will see a different 5-Golfer Combination assigned to each contest. Each ticket is unique. No two tickets have the same 5-Golfer Combination in any contest. There are 2,688 different possible 5-Golfer Combinations that can be assigned to a ticket.
- Each contest’s prize money winners are based on the combined scores of the 5-Golfer Combination on the tickets for that contest. A ticket’s value is determined by adding up the number of strokes the ticket’s golfers had throughout the contest. The better (i.e. lower) the total combined score of the golfers, the better the ticket’s value.
- At the end of each contest, the tickets with the 5-Golfer Combinations that had either the 9 best or 9 worst combined scores win a prize. There are at least 18 winning tickets for each contest. See the front of your ticket for details on prize money amounts.
- In the event two 5-Golf Combinations have the same total score in a contest, then the GolfMania “Weighted Score” is used as a tiebreaker. To determine the tiebreaker Weighted Score, take your golfers’ scores in round one and multiply them by 1; take the scores in round two and multiply them by 2; take the scores in round three and multiply them by 4; and take the scores in round four and multiply them by 8. Add up all these Weighted Scores to get the tiebreaker total Weighted Score. Please note that lower Weighted Scores are better for the ‘Best Score Winners’ and higher Weighted Scores are better for the better for the ‘Worst Score Winners’.
- Winners will be notified by the participating organization that distributed the GolfMania ticket. Prizes are awarded upon the completion of the tournament.
- The minimum odds of winning: 1 in 37.7 per ticket; 1 in 149 for each contest. No purchase necessary to play. Void where prohibited.
